San Francisco is Going to Hell – Soaring Crime Rates Continue

Rep. Kevin Kiley, a Republican from California, turned to social media on Sunday to draw attention to the alarming surge in crime within San Francisco. He attributed this trend to what he characterized as “failed policies, radical politics, and public corruption,” resulting in residents and workers being compelled to adapt their daily routines.

Kiley highlighted a memo from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), dated August 4, advising its employees to embrace teleworking extensively due to concerning “conditions” surrounding the Federal Building. The Federal Building houses numerous federal agencies, including HHS, the Departments of Labor and Transportation, and stands 18 stories tall.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Kiley cited the memo and underscored the severity of the situation, stating, “Crime in San Francisco is so out of control that employees at the Federal Building are being told to stay home.”

He went on to express his concerns about the broader implications of San Francisco’s escalating crime rates, warning that the city might serve as a grim precursor to the nation’s future. Kiley emphasized that the city represents an advanced stage where “failed policies, radical politics, and public corruption” converge, prompting a significant exodus of residents.
