Republican Party Will Have a Stacked Field of Candidates to Go Against Donald Trump

The Republican Party will have a large “big name” group of people looking to become the next President of the United States. Donald Trump will have an interesting debate now with Former Vice President Mike Pence planning to announce his 2024 Presidential Campaign. Pence has been very outspoken about his former partner Trump, especially with the way Trump handled the Jan. 6th attack on the US Capital. They also had disagreements on cuts to Social Security and Medicaid.

Pence joins controversial Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as another opponent to take down Trump’s bid to become President once again. DeSantis has support from Elon Musk and has made lots of news lately with his beef with Disney. Another interesting person to put his name in the hat to get the Republican party in the role of the President of the United States is Chris Christie. Christie is expected to announce his bid on Tuesday. This would be the second attempt the former New Jersey Governor would try to get the Republican party nomination.

Christie helped Trump plan for debates against Biden in 2020 after he dropped out of the Presidential race but has been critical of the former President as of late. Even with all the star power in a loaded Republican party field, Trump remains the front-runner for the Republican party bid. These debates will be television ratings gold.
