President Joe Biden is facing backlash after a surprise visit to Ukraine – but not because he’s showing support to the embattled country.

Biden is facing heat because he visited Ukraine before he visited his own citizens in Ohio – people leaving living in fear and uncertainty after a massive train derailment spilled toxic vinyl chloride into the countryside.

Biden’s first trip to Ukraine as President was intended to show American support for the country as they approach the one-year anniversary of Russian forces invading.

But it turned into a circus of recrimination after Republicans blasted the President for spending time in Ukraine when his own citizens back home are suffering and scared.
