President Biden Chooses Lower Stairs for Air Force One Access Following June Incident

Since the incident at the US Air Force Academy graduation in June, President Joe Biden has opted for the shorter stairs when boarding Air Force One, according to a photographic analysis by FACTZ.

NPR reports that President Biden has been avoiding the traditional 18-foot staircase, which can be unstable at times when boarding and disembarking from Air Force One. Instead, he has been using the lower-level staircase that folds out instead of the separate stairs typically wheeled up to the aircraft at airports and bases.
