Affidavits Reveal Two More Cases of Raped Minors That Were Refused Abortions in Ohio

Things are swimmingly in Ohio, where the state is trying to force minors who have been raped to carry their rapists’ babies to term.

Just kidding, it’s a literal apocalyptic hellscape.

According to affidavits provided by abortion providers, the total of minors forced to carry their rapists’ babies is now up to 3 just since a draconian anti-abortion law was enacted this year in the state after the overturn of Roe v Wade.

These two children join the highly publicized 10-year-old who was forced to leave her home state to seek an abortion and two dozen other instances where women were put in extreme danger by the new laws, according to the affidavits.

In the papers, the providers describe three women who attempted suicide, two women with cancer who couldn’t terminate their pregnancies but who also couldn’t receive cancer treatment while pregnant, and three women whose fetuses had severe abnormalities or conditions that made carrying to term impossible, along with three women who suffered from a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

HG causes vomiting so constant and severe that it can endanger the life of both the mother and the fetus. One case described in the affidavits was of a woman who could not get up off the clinic floor, so debilitated was she by the non-stop vomiting.

It marks a grim development in the war against abortion, showing real-world scenarios where the legislation is causing grave harm.
