FACTZ can confirm one person has passed, and many people are injured during a roof collapse at the Apollo Theater in Belvidere, Illinois.

It was a sold-out concert tonight for the metal band Morbid Angel and Skeletal Remains. The Boone County Sheriffs and many ambulances rushed to the scene as several audience members were rushed to the hospital.

The Apollo Theater was hit with heavy rain, which caused the marquee and facade to crash onto State street, as the roof with heavy brick collapsed on the crowd of over 200 people.
