NFL’s star player Davante Adams is being cited for assault after he shoved a photographer to the ground following Monday Night Football.
According to court documents, the victim suffered whiplash, a headache and a possible minor concussion.
The photographer – Ryan Zebley – was standing on the sidelines as Adams stalked towards the locker room exit when leaving the field. He shoved Zebley hard, and his fall was caught on camera. Zebley went to the hospital for his injuries and filed a police report.
Adams has since (kind of) apologized, saying, “I wanted to say sorry to him for that because that was just frustration mixed with him literally just running in front of me. I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that.”
Raiders coaches and players are standing behind Adams.
This should have been a 3 game suspension in my book.
Seriously this guy needs to chill the f out. You don’t take out your anger on a innocent photographer.
He should be mad. His own player took him out! Raiders should have won.
