During the evening rush hour on Tuesday, a shocking incident unfolded on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, leaving commuters in chaos and gridlock. A completely naked woman, armed with a gun and knife, wreaked havoc on the busy highway, causing the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to take immediate action.

The alarming episode began at 4:38 p.m. when multiple Bay Bridge motorists reported a naked woman brandishing a gun, firing at several cars, and menacing random victims with a knife. Adding to the danger, the woman attempted to force her way into vehicles passing through the bridge.

The CHP took swift measures to ensure the safety of the public. Eastbound lanes of Interstate-80, near the toll plaza, and the I-80 connector ramp to I-880 in Oakland were closed to prevent further escalation and potential harm to commuters.

After a tense ordeal, CHP officers located the woman walking on the bridge around 6 p.m. They issued commands for her to drop her weapons, and to their relief, she complied with their orders. Law enforcement successfully apprehended her without further incident.
