The Tampa Bay Rays pulled shortstop Wander Franco from Sunday’s lineup as Major League Baseball is looking into social media posts that are circulating.

The story that has gone viral alleges that Franco had an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

Franco, 22, just signed a $182 million-dollar deal with the Rays, and was an All-Star this season with 17 homers and 58 RBIs.

Allegedly, he had a relationship with a 14 year old girl. There are photos of the two together as well as the female teenager wearing his chain.  In one video, you can see Franco kiss the girl on her cheek as they seem intimate. Rumors are swirling that Franco did not pay the girl “hush” money.

After Sunday’s game, Ray’s manager said that Franco was not in the lineup as it was a “day off.” Stay tuned for more details.
