Meta tried to slip this one under the rug during the holidays.
Closing out the ROUGH year for Mark Zuckerberg and his company Meta, they have agreed to pay $725 million, yup, almost a billion bucks, to settle the legal dispute over a data breach with ties to political consultant Cambridge Analytica.
Meta statement, “Settling is in the best interest of our community and shareholders. We look forward to continuing to build services people love and trust with privacy at the forefront.”
Not sure how any shareholder trusts Meta anymore. This story is developing.
Does anyone even use Meta?
