All of the social media rumors and articles must have rattled something loose for Leonardo DiCaprio, because he’s taking a different approach to life.

Social media users have been blasting the 47-year-old actor for apparently refusing to date women who are over the age of 25, breaking up with several girlfriends over the past decades after they’ve hit that ceiling.

But now, he’s trying out an older woman – Gigi Hadid. The superstar model is a whole 27 years old, and their apparent new relationship is a giant middle finger to all the haters out there. See? Leo doesn’t need them to be young. 27 is practically ancient. According to the Leo Standards, anyway (mine too during weekdays).

Just a few days ago, reports surfaced that the pair were “getting to know” each other but weren’t dating. And surprisingly, exactly no one, sparks appear to have flown and they’re giving the whole “older woman/younger man” thing a try.

The pair were spotted “canoodling” at Casa Cipriani in NYC recently, and one source told ET that they’re “having a good time together and Leo is very attracted to Gigi.”- I don’t get it either. It’s a bit of whiplash for DiCaprio, who just broke up with his girlfriend of four years, Camila Morrone, late last month.
