A new report suggests that North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un is dealing with a midlife crisis.

India Times quotes Dr. Choi Jinwook, a North Korean academic based in Seoul, who said, “the leader is facing new anxieties over his health and safety as he nears 40. I heard he was crying after drinking a lot. He is very lonely and under pressure.”

Kim has fueled speculations about illness in recent weeks by avoiding public appearances. He has reportedly even begun using his private toilet while traveling to prevent anyone from searching his bowel movements for clues about his health.
