In the world of Kanye West, it’s no longer easy sailing.

After losing his partnership with Adidas and a dozen other partnerships besides, West is finding himself having to reassess his finances.

Ye has paused construction on his Malibu beach house now that he’s no longer a billionaire. He bought the beachfront property in 2021 for $57M, and gutted the property for renovations. The reno is nowhere near finished, but is on pause for the near future.

An insider told The Sun, “Ye has mostly been living at the Waldorf for the past month with Juliana [Nalu, his new model girlfriend].” The friend added, “He’s having to sort his finances out so renovation work at his Malibu place is on hold at the moment. His house near Kim’s also needs renovating, and he wanted a change of scenery after months at Soho Warehouse Downtown.”

Ye right now is dropping tens to hundreds of thousands to keep up appearances, if true – not exactly the best move for someone tightening the old money belt.
