Jennifer Lawrence Regrets Ignoring Adele’s Career Advice

Jennifer Lawrence is on top of Hollywood as the new face for Longines watches.

But that doesn’t mean she’s made the right decision every step of the way.

Lawrence recently took the opportunity to discuss her regret, which involves one of the music world’s greats.

Jennifer starred in a movie called “Passengers,” a 2016 sci-fi film that co-starred Chris Pratt, and, well – it sucked.

After the movie bombed at the box office and received an embarrassing 30% on Rotten Tomatoes, Lawrence says she realized it was a really, really bad idea. “I was like, ‘Oh no, you guys are here because I’m here, and I’m here because you’re here. Wait, who decided that this was a good movie?'”

And a legendary music icon warned her not to do it in the first place.

Lawrence says, “Adele told me not to do it. She said, ‘I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.’ I should have listened to her. Everything was like a rebound effect. I was reacting rather than just acting.”

She added, “I felt like more of a celebrity than an actor, cut off from my creativity, my imagination.”

Duly noted. Listen to Adele.
