Italian Architect Floats ‘Floating City’ as Breathtaking Answer to Climate Change

Climate change is on the minds of architects, designers, and scientists worldwide.

As we build tomorrow’s infrastructure, more and more creative minds are turning to solutions that can answer the pressing and urgent call of solving climate change devastation.

One Italian architect firm, Luca Curci Architects, teamed up with Tim Fu Design to create a breathtaking and sustainable floating city for 50,000+ people.

In a new concept video, the city looks ultra-modern and eco-friendly, with curving walls, soaring architecture, and green spaces everywhere.

The video explains that the city’s concept was “designed to support the global response to the threat of climate change.”

From natural lighting taking advantage of the sun’s energy to latticework structures designed to be both beautiful and strong, it’s the kind of futuristic city sci-fi authors dream of – and the world desperately needs.
