David Green, the owner of Hobby Lobby, is planning to gift his entire company to God. Green is hellbent on his showcasing his conviction and spreading the gospel.

Hobby Lobby, established in 1972 in Oklahoma, is now a massive retailer worth billions. Green, a Conservative Christian, is looking to follow the new trend set by Patagonia owner Yvon Chouinard– make billions to give it away.

This is not a good sign for children of succession-set families. As Green stated, inheriting billions would “change or even ruin the future of grandchildren who had not even been born yet.”

Green’s son is currently the President, and his daughter is the Vice President of Hobby Lobby. They also love God enough to be let go of $13 billion and a yearly revenue stream of $6.4 billion.
