Ex-NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson (formerly known as Chad Ochocinco) may seem a bit out of place on the Fox Sports coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but the 44-year-old has been a dedicated fan of soccer his entire life.

He is also a fan of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and wants the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to finish his career in the United States.

On a recent broadcast, Johnson made a spirited pitch for Ronaldo to come to Miami, listing palm trees, sun, South Beach, and Tootsie’s Cabaret as potential benefits for coming to the Sunshine State.

For those unfamiliar, Tootsie’s is the largest strip club in North America and an epicenter of the Miami nightlife scene. The inclusion of this ‘benefit’ caused Johnson’s broadcast partner and former professional soccer player Maurice Edu to burst into uncontrollable laughter while host Kate Abdo innocently asked, “what’s a tootsie?”

We’re not so sure that Ronaldo’s next career decision will be influenced by a gentleman’s club, no matter how good the girls or the food apparently is.
