Police say a 17-year-old student from Matanzas High School in Bunnell, Florida, is under arrest after violently assaulting a teacher’s aide.

According to witnesses, the aide removed a Nintendo Switch from the student, who is 6’3″ and 270lbs compared to the teacher’s slight frame (although no details about her age, name or size have been released so far).

Surveillance video shows the aide walking away from a classroom, then turning to look off-camera as the student comes barreling towards her.

With one violent hit, he knocks her unconscious where she crumples to the floor.

Unsatisfied with simply knocking her out, the student then repeatedly stomps her body and pummels her upper torso and head before other adults can intervene.

The student reportedly said he would “beat her up” for taking his device and wanted to “kill her” when he returns to school.

The student remains in custody and the woman has been released from the hospital after being treated for severe injuries.
