Father of Tennessee Titans Player Caleb Farley Dies in Home Explosion

The father of Tennessee Titans cornerback Calbey Farley passed away in a tragic accident on Tuesday morning at the home of the sophomore player.

Robert Farley, 61, was killed and another person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after the explosion that destroyed the NFL player’s North Carolina home.

The cause of the explosion remains unknown but Kent Greene, the director of Iredell County Fire Services and Emergency Management, expects that natural gas must have built for a long period of time before finding an ignition source.

Wood debris and window frames were reportedly blown at least 50 yards away from the blast. Apparently, nothing was left standing aside from part of the garage.
