FACTZ met George ‘Tyrus’ Murdoch in the airport to talk about “Fox New’s Gutfeld!, a late-night show that Murdoch regularly contributes to.

Referring to the writers’ strike, FACTZ wanted to know if Gutfeld! was taking advantage of the lack of the late-night shows currently on, to increase their ratings. Murdoch says, “We were winning before.” Adding, “We didn’t worry about them. they were up 35 million every night. We were beating them when they had other writers and  all that stuff.”

Murdoch explained to FACTZ, “People like Tommy.” Explaining, “He’s not being woke and he’s not wearing a filter. A joke’s a joke.” “People wanna laugh, watch us. You wanna be political, watch them.”

And, we of course had to ask about his standing in the 2024 United States Presidential election.

Murdoch says, “Who knows? It’s too early to tell.”

We touched on DeSantis’s campaign and asked the WWE wrestler if he thinks he has a chance. “What’s in now, will be out then,” says Murdoch. “Just like before, when Trump ran, everybody laughed when he went down the escalator and then he won, so, it’s too early. We’ll see.”

Staying neutral in the interview, Murdoch told FACTZ, “Like I said, we’ll just see. You never know what the American people are gonna do.” Reiterating, “At the end of the day, it’s all about the American people and who they vote for.”
