FACTZ caught up with British sports promoter Eddie Hearn, and he shared his thoughts on Dana White’s newest big sport: Power Slap League.

Hearn pulled no punches (or slaps) over his thoughts on Power Slap League, saying that the concept scares him when it comes to kids who watch and emulate what they see.

Hearn expressed disgust for how the sport encourages people to stand undefended and let someone else harm them – and what impressionable young minds might take away from the concept.

The promoter explains that while he respects White, “As a parent, I have kids who are 13 and 10, I have a really big fear about what is happening in the world and their society growing up. The Slap League is motivating people to take a free shot, an undefended shot, at someone’s head. I mean, there’s no skill. It’s dangerous. It’s promoting all the wrong things.”
