Drake wrapped his second concert for the long-awaited two-show stint at the Apollo Theater. But guests at the swanky Mark Hotel, where he is staying, are unhappy.
The rapper took out a ton of rooms for his entourage. As for the rapper himself, he is staying in the extravagant $75,000-a-night penthouse.
What is causing a lot of frustration for the hotel and its staff is that the lobby is consistently filled with Drake’s friends, who are loud, obnoxious, and not considerate of others staying in the hotel.
As for the outside of the hotel, there are paparazzi and fans, day and night, waiting for a glimpse of the rapper. Even singer Sam Smith who was in NYC for his Saturday Night Live appearance chose the hotel to get mentally ready and be alone ahead of his appearance. The crowds trying to exit the hotel made his experience a disaster.
As for the concerts themselves, they were a hit as Drake performed for two hours in front of a packed house with celebrities like Justin Bieber, Kevin Durant, Gayle King, and many more in the crowd. The Toronto rapper told the audience that new music is on the way.
Hopefully, next time, he chooses an AirBnB.
They are fans trying to see Drake, no wonder they are “loud and obnoxious” in the lobby.
They dont have security or anything at the door not letting in random people? At a 75k a night hotel?
I love Drake! It was so good seeing him perform. Truly once in a lifetime experience!
What do they expect though? It’s Drake and so many other celebrities stay at this place.
