Donald Trump Vows to be ‘Warrior’ and ‘Retribution’ in Bizarre CPAC Speech

Donald Trump wasn’t invited to the Club for Growth summit over the weekend that focuses on the future of the conservative movement. And he’s not salty about it at all – as he’s told everyone about two dozen times. Because we all frequently talk ad nauseum about things we don’t care about it.

Trump did, however, receive an invitation to take the stage at CPAC in Maryland.

And it was during his time on stage that things got a little weird – as the former POTUS told followers he’d be their “warrior.”

He told the audience, “In 2016, I declared I am your voice. Today I add: I am your warrior. I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.”

Trump then added, “This is the final battle, they know it. I know it, you know it, and everybody knows it, this is it. Either they win or we win. And if they win, we no longer have a country.”

Trump also touted his jobs record (dismal) and his victory in 2020 (never happened) before an enthusiastic but apparently half-full crowd who easily picked him over Ron DeSantis in a straw poll for 2024.
