Donald Trump has officially clapped back against NY Attorney General Letitia James.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Florida, has been opposed by several of his legal advisors, who tried to stop the former POTUS from filing it.

Trump’s counselors reportedly said it was frivolous and would fail, according to those familiar with the matter.

The general counsel of Trump’s real estate business warned that the Florida attorneys who drafted the suit for Trump could be committing malpractice.

But Trump had them file it anyway.

The FPOTUS took to Truth Social to announce the lawsuit, which accuses James of “trespassing on Trump’s right to privacy in Florida” and seeks to halt a civil lawsuit she filed against Trump and his company.

Trump wrote on Truth, “While James does nothing to protect New York against these violent crimes and criminals, she attacks great and upstanding businesses.”

The lawsuit itself sounds like a compilation of Trump’s Greatest Hits Grievances List, and experts are divided on the future of the case.

A spokesperson for James said in a statement that “multiple judges have dismissed Donald Trump’s baseless attempts to evade justice, and no number of lawsuits will deter us from pursuing this fraud.” The statement adds, “We sued Donald Trump because he committed extensive financial fraud. That fact hasn’t changed.”
