In order to try to drive up vaccination rates, one Disney theme park is segregating rates for guests based on their status.
At Land of the Rising Sun, Toyko Disney, guests who are unvaccinated are charged a higher rate.
Those with vaccines get a special discount, as long as they prove they’re “fully boosted and vaccinated.”
The discount amounts to a significant chunk of change – 20% off for the fully vaxxed.
It applies to one-day passports valid from October 13, 2022 through January 31, 2023.
Guests need to provide a vaccination record with a 3rd completed vaccination, a PCR negative test certificate (collected within 3 days of admission), antigen quantitative test negative certificate (collected within 3 days), antigen qualitative test negative certificate (collected within 1 day).
So far other Disney parks don’t seem to be doing the same – but that may change if it has an impact on vaccination rates.
How is this legal?
Disney gets more pathetic as the months go by.
