Get your slapping hand ready, it’s go time.

UFC president Dana White has earned approval from the Nevada Athletic Commission to go ahead with the launch of his Power Slap League.

And yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

It’s a slap-fighting organization White plans to launch in late 2022.

Viral videos have made slap-fighting popularized over the past few years and involve combatants slapping each other with open-handed slaps until one person withdraws.

Some of the most popular videos involve one fighter falling unconscious after a thunderous blow from an opponent.

But White should be happy with the Commission’s approval and chance to get his new league up and running – one could even say he’s probably a little slap-happy about it.
