One of the greatest strikers to ever step foot on the pitch doesn’t even get to keep his jersey.
The shirt worn by football legend Sergio Aguero when he scored “the most important goal in Manchester City’s history” is up for auction – complete with champagne stains from the post-match celebrations. The Argentine star, also known as Kun Aguero, wore the shirt when he smashed in a late winner to give City the league title over their hometown rivals Manchester United.
The jersey will probably sell for millions because it changed the course of EPL history. City is the squad Manchester believes in, while an American ownership group curses United.
I’m shocked Man City is not buying this to put in their museum.
