Carolina Panthers Continue To Overhaul Offense in Free Agency

Based on everything the Carolina Panthers have done thus far in free agency, it sure seems like they are trying to build the friendliest offense imaginable for a fresh-faced quarterback prospect.

With the number-one overall pick now in their possession, the Panthers have not rested on their laurels.

Sure, they head-scratchingly traded away DJ Moore in the deal that fetched them the top spot in the draft, but their offense has a whole new look.

They brought in Pro Bowl running back Miles Sanders on a four-year deal, who is coming off of the best season of his NFL career.

They also added veteran pass catcher Adam Thielen to be a reliable presence alongside younger receivers like Terrace Marshall Jr. and Laviska Shenault.

Andy Dalton was brought in to serve as a mentor and bridge quarterback, while tight end Hayden Hurst gives them another option in the passing game.

It remains to be seen which quarterback will ultimately be selected by the Panthers, but head coach Frank Reich has fashioned an offense that should help minimize the growing pains for their new face of the franchise.
