So Alex Cooper has been on our FACTZ hit list since our inception. There was a theory in our industry that she is excellent at asking questions but not good at answering questions. I won’t say the industry term everyone calls her because I like animals.
What everyone wants to know- will Sofia Franklyn ever come on her show?
Some Wiki background for those who don’t know: Call Her Daddy is an advice and comedy podcast created by Alexandra Cooper and Sofia Franklyn in 2018. The podcast was formerly owned and distributed by Barstool Sports until June 2021, when it was announced that Cooper had signed an exclusive deal with Spotify worth $60 million.
In the late spring of 2020, Cooper and Franklyn were engaged in a publicized dispute with Barstool founder David Portnoy, which resulted in Franklyn leaving. Cooper reached an agreement with Barstool and continued hosting the show independently.
However, it looks like the dispute is still a thing, as we tracked her down over the weekend, and she refused to answer the question.
Franklyn, who has her own show, has recently been in the news after disclosing that LeBron James is a cheater. We hope to ask Franklyn the same question, as she seems a little bit more open and honest.
