California Legislative Women’s Caucus Urges Ari Emanuel to Fire Dana White over Domestic Violence

The California Legislative Women’s Caucus is taking a stand against UFC president Dana White after a New Year’s video revealed him slapping his wife, Anne.

Since then, UFC’s parent company Endeavor has been mum on White’s assault, leading the CLWC to write a strongly worded letter to Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel demanding he fire White.

In the letter, the CLWC says that they believed Endeavor and the UFC held similar views on domestic partner violence, along with a commitment to ending it. In the past, White himself has spoken strongly against domestic violence, once suggesting that you “don’t come back” from putting your hands on a woman.

However, the letter says their supposed commitment to ending domestic violence has not been shown to be the case as White continues his role as president without consequence.

The letter concludes, “The hypocrisy is astounding. Enough is enough. It is time to remove Mr. White from his leadership role.”

Endeavor has not yet publicly responded.
