Biden Still Wants to Support Oppressive Iran Regime Despite Violent Crackdowns on Protestors

Across Iran, protestors are taking to the street to fight back against an extremist religious regime responsible for the state-sanctioned murder of a 22-year-old woman named Mahsa Amini on September 13.

Since then, anywhere from 55 to upwards of 200 (depending on who you ask) protestors have been killed in bloody crackdowns on the protests as the regime attempts to regain control.

And it would seem that the administration of President Joe Biden still wants to make nice and play diplomacy with the violent mullahs (religious leaders) driving the state crackdowns in Iran.

Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan spoke on CBS’s Face the Nation this week to discuss their plans to react diplomatically to the disturbing events.

Sullivan said that he believes talks with Iran over their nuclear capabilities (which may include sending billions to the country to bolster its defenses in other ways) can continue even as they finger wag at them over the oppression of women.

Which will do nothing besides putting money in the hands of the bloody regime, but no one seems to have told Sullivan or Biden.
