President Joe Biden has been sending money to the Ukraine in extraordinary sums.

The US has committed nearly $22B to Ukraine since the start of the invasion by Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently traveled to Washington to speak with Biden, and people felt some kinda way about the clothes he wore.

Zelenskyy addressed Congress wearing a nondescript green sweater.

Compare that to the full four-piece suit he wore when visiting Trump in the past.

To some, it was seen as an insult – a slap in the face.

To others, an understandable abandonment of vanity given what his country is living through right now. In early December, Zelenskyy announced that he was ditching formal attire until his country was free again, eschewing it for more practical clothing.

Perhaps showing up in a fine suit would give the impression that the money to Ukraine was going right into the President’s pocket.

Either way, the image was an odd one – and people are talking.
