TikTok user Riley Saurage, says that the sororities surrounding her are “so different than the south. I don’t even know, like, for sure how different they are, but I just obviously assumed the sororities here are just a lot less… a lot less. In kind of every aspect. Like, some people don’t even know that I’m in a sorority because it really doesn’t consume your life,” as she’s doing her makeup at 5 a.m. for a 12-hour day of recruiting girls.

Saurage shared a “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) video doing her makeup and talked about why it’s worth giving Greek life a shot if you’re at all curious about it.

“I try to convince the girls that are on the fence – sororities are just not, like, their vibe to go through recruitment and  kind of just feel it out because I felt the exact same way. And, I ended up here, which is, like, being very very very appreciative for what it has brought me  because it definitely changed my college experience for the better.” Sourage explains how who she is with her sorority is different than at home in Louisiana because of what the friendships bring out of her.
