Amar’e Stoudemire Criticizes Silence on Hamas’ Attack and Calls Out BLM Supporters

Former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire has voiced his criticism against politicians and Black Lives Matter supporters who have remained silent in the wake of Hamas’ recent attack on Israel. Stoudemire took to his Instagram page to express his frustration in a candid video posted on Sunday, targeting those who have failed to denounce Hamas following its significant assault on Israel, which marks the most extensive attack in 50 years.

In the video, Stoudemire passionately addresses the disturbing reports emerging from Israel, including allegations of Hamas kidnapping children, confining them in cages, and perpetrating violence against women and the elderly. He vehemently condemns these acts as cowardly.

Stoudemire also directs his frustration toward individuals who claim to support the Black Lives Matter movement but have chosen to remain silent in this situation. He questions their reluctance to speak out, suggesting that there is no need to “figure out” what is happening when it comes to condemning actions like kidnapping children and harming vulnerable individuals. Stoudemire emphasizes that such actions have never been acceptable, regardless of one’s background, affiliations, or origins.

He also criticizes the tactic of using children as human shields, denouncing it as an act of cowardice.

Ama’re’s statement: I recognize that in a moment of passion that there is a better way that I can communicate my emotions about the conflict. I pray that the parties involved are able to find a resolution.

I pray for the people of Israel. I pray for the people of Palestine. I stand with humanity.

To Black Lives Matter and the Politicians. I recognize that it is everyone’s choice if they want to speak about the conflict and that while I may want people to say more, that there is a better way that I can communicate that.

I want to make sure to mention that I am thankful for all of the work that people as a whole have done so far for their communities and I hope that we all strive to do more. 🏁

THIS IS NOT AN APOLOGY…
