Bill Murray Is Selling ‘The Manse’ His Hideaway Home

Bill Murray is ready to dump ‘The Manse’ hideaway home, and Andrea B. Swenson took some epic pictures for FACTZ.

His stunning former New York home ‘The Manse’ is up for sale at $2.07 million.

The lavish four-bedroom suburban property has hit the market today. Murray lived at the idyllic residence throughout the 1980s, at the height of his career. During that time, he collaborated with the late writer-director Harold Ramis and starred in a string of box-office hits, including Caddyshack, Stripes, and Tootsie, and also filmed Ghostbusters before selling off the home in 1990.

Nestled in the heart of the A-list-favored Snedens Landing community, the Gothic Revival-style home – built in 1868 – is just 25 minutes from Manhattan. It underwent a $1 million restoration in 2016. Featuring traditional front and rear porches, it has restored wide board pine floors, crown moldings, and three fireplaces, including a Victorian mantel.
