A widely-circulated video shows a 10-foot alligator being captured by officials after it stalked and killed an 85-year-old woman at a retirement community in Florida.

Henry the gator was caught by officials before being taken away and euthanized following the attack.

Henry’s victim, Gloria Serge, was trying to rescue her dog from the gator when he turned on the woman on February 22.

Since Serge’s death, the neighborhood has had three additional gators removed from its lakes. Judy Murray, Gloria’s neighbor, told TMZ that she watched authorities removing all of the gators from the communities’ lakes.

Murray says that she believes her neighbor had a “senior moment” when she chose to walk her dog along the shoreline of one of the lakes. Florida locals know not to walk along the water’s edge if the body of water is murky – but Serge did not listen to her instincts.

Serge’s dog, Trooper, survived the attack and is now living with family.
